WA prepares to ease coronavirus restrictions

The State Government is set to announce a roadmap to relax coronavirus restrictions is to be laid out in full by Sunday, it comes despite one new case being recorded this morning.

WA Premier Mark McGowan said decisions made will be done on health advice, and that it is important that no one gets complacent during this time.

The new guidelines will be inline with the Federal Government’s easing os national restrictions set to be announced later this morning following another National Cabinet meeting.

Supermarket giant to resume normal trading hours

Woolworths stores around the country are set to return to regular trading hours on Monday.

Sales have returned to pre-coronavirus levels, and product limits on essential items have been lifted.

Woolworths Group CEO, Brad Banducci said health and safety measures across stores will remain.   

United States COVID19 death toll hits 75,000

The United states has become the global epicentre of the coronavirus, with a death toll now over 75,000.

Active cases within the US have reached over 1.25 million, with numbers rising in many states however the states of New York and New Jersey are declining following mass numbers recorded throughout March and April.

Health experts are predicting an increase, as various states bow to public pressure to lift stay-at-home orders.  

The Good News: Karate teacher starts YouTube channel to help seniors

A fifteen year-old US Karate teacher from Dayton, Ohio in the United States has taken to Youtube to teach seniors.

Jeffrey Wall, the founder of Golden Age Karate started his business in October 2019 before the implementation of coronavirus restrictions.

He has since started taking classes through Youtube to keep seniors active while in isolation.

He began studying karate at 6 years old and has been inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
