Birdland’s Debut EP

The triplet band formed in Perth, previously interviewed here on BOOM, have just released their debut EP.
Titled ‘He was Me’, The extended play features three songs produced from late 2025 through to 2026, and five brand new tracks. This is by far the trios largest release; they have spent almost two years on the project. The EP explores the individual identity of Connor, Oscar and Francis, and their experiences as they grow into young adults.

They have been teasing the release on their socials and posting previews of certain tracks from the extended play during the lead up to its announcement. I am personally most excited for a song titled “Hold Me Tight”, a song made in recognition and appreciation of all those who stay with you through thick and thin.
