KFC’s bird appears to be cooked in a couple of Aussie states as a recent outbreak of bird flu has been making patrons of the international food chain scrambling to find a new way to ease their Kentucky fried cravings.
A nugget of information passed down from on high informed loyal KFC customers that the staple treat of any good kids’ meal – the chicken nugget – would be among the altered menu items given the recent lack of birds of a feather flocking together.
The change is only set to affect some stores in South Australia and Victoria, so being the sticky beak I am, I figured it’s time to stop clucking around and ask my sister – a nice bird – who lives in South Australia her opinion on the matter.
With a reassuring tone about the situation, she asks people to “…wing it and find
something else on the menu…”
“…or if that’s too much of a scramble, you could get cracking on finding somewhere else to snack…”
Frankly, I found it kind of strange she kept hitting me with zinger after zinger with all the chicken puns. Seems like she was making a yolk out of the whole situation.
