If Perth Glory want to play finals football in season 2021 they must beat Brisbane Roar on Wednesday night at Dolphin Stadium.
The Glory comes into the game 4 points and goal difference out of the top 6 and coming off a 2 all draw with wellington at Eden park on Sunday. Brisbane sits in the top 6 on 37 points and goal difference but it did not help that they lost to Western Sydney on Sunday 2-0 at Bankwest Stadium
Perth Glory manger Richard Garcia and striker Andy Keough spoke to the media today regarding their performance on Sunday and there upcoming game against Brisbane, Keough was asked about the weeks recovery from the Macarthur to Wellington game where he said” it was good to have a weeks break between games to recover” he was also asked about he was travelling personally and if he would have signed with another team in the A-League “The club is my home”.
Richard Garcia was asked about the team cliché question of every game is like a final now as they bid for a spot in the top 6 and had the team lifted once Joel Chianese returned from India “Everyone has lifted in the last couple of weeks” and the million-dollar question will Diego Castro be at the club beyond this year “Its an end of the season thing”. If the Glory are to make finals it all starts by getting the three points against Brisbane on Wednesday night.
