The wildcats had to bounce back on Friday against the bottom placed taipans after coming off that shock lost to Brisbane on Wednesday and they did exactly that as Bryce Cotton and Todd Blanchfield went to work with 19 points as the Wildcats returned to the winners list.

The Dockers returned home and played there first home game in front of crowds since round 4. It was a happy return home for the Dockers as they won a tight tussle with the swans at a wet Optus Stadium, a game in which Buddy Franklin returned to his home state and booted 6 but it was not enough as Lachie Shultz and Rory Lobb got the Dockers home.

This game at Giant stadium had massive ramification on the 8 as if the Giants won it would put them into the top 8 and for Eagles it would cermet their spot in the top 8, It was also Shannon Hurns 291st game which broke the games record at the Eagles. The game went goal for goal until the last quarter when the Giants finally broke the drought to win the game by 16.
Adelaide 36ers Vs Perth Wildcats 68-76
It was a case of no Cotton, no problems for the wildcats as they won there first game of the season without the reigning MVP, guard Mitch Norton and John Mooney stood up in the absence of Cotton who is out for the remainder of the regular season.

Perth Glory’s winning streak has come to an end all thanks to a 1 all draw with A-League new boys Macarthur FC, Glory went into the game with 4 straight wins under their belt.
