Is 28 Days too long to play 1 game

Many AFL pundits are concerned with the amount of games Melbourne has played in this year’s final series.
In this finals series, Melbourne has only played 1 game in 28 days all thanks to winning their qualifying final against Brisbane by 33 points and winning their prelim final against Geelong on Friday night, this year the AFL has scrapped the pre-finals bye in favor of a bye the week before the Grand Final.
On the other hand, the Bulldogs have played 3 games this finals series 2 of which they’ve handed out the spankings to Essendon and Port Adelaide and any absolute thriller against Brisbane.
So is the number of game Melbourne has played a concern compared to the Bulldogs 3 I don’t think so and if you look at it Melbourne have had time to rest there body’s between games and have acclimatized to the Perth conditions better as well doing there mandatory 14 days quarantine on entry to WA.
