The 2024 Channel 7 crab fest took place over the weekend in Mandurah, the heart of the Peel Region.
It’s Mandurah’s version of their local Royal show with over 100,000 visitors recorded over the event along the Mandurah foreshore. The Crab Fest has now become the biggest free event in Western Australia and the most popular within the Peel Region.
People gathered from all over to indulge in mouthwatering crab dishes like crab cakes and crab linguine. But it wasn’t just about the food, there were also heaps of activities and educational displays about sustainable fishing practices.
The annual event will be back in 2025, with travellers needing to wait for the next Crab Fest.
