We all love going to the movies, but us Perth-ians are going to have to “make room” for a lighter wallet to satisfy that desire.
To watch a new cinema screening in Perth, on average you’re going to have to pay $20.00, which is actually 17% more than the national average, putting Australia 2nd behind Britain, as the most expensive nation to go to the cinema.
Increased rent, bills and film hire, problems not overly apparent in places like Sydney and Melbourne are to blame for the price rise in Perth.
It’s a bummer, but if it’s a good film, you gotta be comfortable forking out a little bit more! Speaking of good films, why not see The Revenant at Luna Cinemas right here in Leederville?
